Panel One - Halcyon getting dropped through a trap door.
Text - "Meanwhile, back in the present . . ."
Panel Two - To her surprise, Halcyon realizes she is falling through space.

Chibi Halcyon - “Did somebody say banquet?”

C. Halcyon - “Did too, in big letters.”

Panel One - A bored-looking young emperor sitting behind a long table.
Panel Two - The Emperor sighs.
Panel Three - An incredibly stupid clown/juggler finishes his act with a goofy
flourish. Dead silence.
Panel Four - The clown, still frozen in position, is hauled off by a guard.
Guard - “There's just no place for the avant-garde in popular culture .
. .”
Panel Five - The emperor turns to his advisor. Chibi Halcyon has stolen a chicken
leg and is about to chow down. The emperor’s dialogue is not really visible.
Panel Six - Halcyon is dragged off by a cane. The Emperor looks a little flustered.
Emperor - “I said, why can’t anything interesting ever happen?”

Panel ONE - Halcyon falling through the air. With the chicken leg.
Text - MEANWHILE (5,000 ft above the castle and falling)
Panel Two - Halcyon’s chicken leg grows wings and flies away. She watches
it go sadly.
Note beside panel - Wow, that was random.
Halcyon - “Why can’t I do that . . . Oh well. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”
Panel Three - Inside the castle, the emperor, bored.
Emperor - “*sigh*”
Panel Four - Above the castle, Halycon screaming.
Halycon - “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”
Panel Five - Inside the castle.
Emperor - “*sigh*”

Panel Two - Halcyon strikes a fabric canopy and rips through part way.
Panel Three - The fabric starts to tear further. Halcyon with tears streaming
down her face.
Panel Four - Inside the castle, the emperor and other guests looking up.
Halcyon - “ . . . AaAAAAAAAAA”

Panel One - Halcyon still has the fabric awning wrapped around her, but most
of it has ripped free of the ceiling and she is falling.
Panel Two - Halycon claws at the air and manages to snag the corner of a chandelier.
Panel Three - The guests looking up.
Guests - “oooo . . .”
Panel Four - The chandelier rips free of the ceiling.
Panel Five - The guests looking up.
Guests - “oooo . . .”
PAGE EIGHT
Panel One - Halcyon tries to grab hold of the wall as she swings downward, but
only rips a sconce and its torch out of the fittings.
Panel Two - The guests.
Guests - “aaaa . . .”
Panel Three - Halcyon bounces off a giant flower sculpture of the emperor, roses
flying left and right.
Panel Four - Halcyon tumbling through the air, the fabric wrapping further around
her.
Panel Five - The fabric rips free.

Panel (multi) - Halcyon executes a brilliant flip and what seems to be a double
lutz minus the ice.
Guests - “oooh!!”
PAGE TEN
Panel One - Halcyon somehow lands upright on the banquet table. Flowers settle
to the ground around her.
Panel Two - The torch lands in her hand.
Panel Three - The chandelier lands on her head.
Guests - “Aaaah!”
Panel Four - Stray sparks from both are igniting some boxes labeled - “ascension
fireworks”.
PAGE ELEVEN
Panel One - Behind the triumphantly posed but shocked speechless Halcyon a large
quantity of fireworks go off.
Panel Two - The guests and the emperor with mouths hanging wide open.
Panel Three - They burst into applause and cheering.
Panel Four - Halcyon grins weakly and quirks over to one side, her eyebrow twitching.
Halcyon - “Don’t try this at home, kids . . .”
Panel Five - Halcyon passes out. Smaller panels fade to black.
